Introduction to Tropical Z
Tropical Z by Connected Cannabis Co. has quickly become a new favorite for me. Rewind to the Hall of Flowers, where I eagerly picked up some Tropical Z after hearing rave reviews on Instagram. This strain boasts impressive genetics, being a cross of Xeno and (GDPTHH) #9, which intrigued me as a fan of Grand Daddy Purp—one of my all-time favorites. Although I had to wait until Day 2 to grab it, I can confidently say it was worth the anticipation.
Aroma and Flavor
As soon as I cracked open the jar during a TED Talk, I was smitten. The aroma wafting from the container was intoxicating, and the first taste was like being transported to a tropical paradise—deliciously sweet and fruity.
Effects and Experience
What surprised me was how this strain didn’t just slump me into relaxation; instead, it heightened my awareness, making me acutely aware of my hunger. While I figured out the food situation later, I was amazed by how well it smoked. Even in my Venty vaporizer, I experienced robust vapor production. I often struggle with getting enough vapor in my device, but that was never an issue with Tropical Z. Each puff was consistent, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.The effects are what I cherish the most about Tropical Z. Unlike some strains that couch-lock you, Tropical Z offers an upbeat, motivating experience that fuels my creativity and productivity. Once I start, I never want to stop. The effects come on quickly, leading to a positive and engaging state of mind that feels just right.
Rolling and Smoking Experience
As I reached the bottom of the jar, I decided to roll my first joint of Tropical Z. I was pleased to find that the smoking experience remained exceptional in this form. Joints may be my third or fourth preferred method of consumption, but this was a 10/10 joint experience for me. The flavor was vibrant, and I could enjoy it without the need to put it out prematurely. The benefits kicked in rapidly, making it an all-around delightful experience.
