Salutations
Welcome to another edition of my daily journal about cannabis. Let’s dive right in, as I’m a bit behind schedule this morning!
Dabbing: A New Perspective
Today, I want to explore the world of cannabis concentrates—often referred to as dabs, wax, rosin, or resin. Until recently, I had only skimmed the surface of this realm, but it has now become an integral part of my treatment routine. As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve noticed a decrease in my overall cannabis consumption. This shift is largely due to my adoption of dabbing.Dabbing involves taking a cannabis concentrate, placing it in my Puffco device, and inhaling. The process takes just seconds, and then, like clockwork, the effects wash over me, allowing me to move on with my day. Ironically, this efficiency had initially posed a problem for me.
The Challenge of Tradition
I was accustomed to smoking a blunt, which could take up to an hour to finish, especially as my rolling skills improved. That was the way it was supposed to be—at least, that’s what I thought. Over time, however, I realized that this method was unsustainable. While it offered some health benefits, it also had its drawbacks. For the past three years, I’ve been on a quest to recreate that nostalgic “big blunt” experience. Yet, I’ve come to understand that this idealized experience likely doesn’t exist and is not the most effective way for me to utilize the plant.
Conclusion: A New Approach
For those who are seasoned smokers, I encourage you to give dabbing a try. While I initially dreaded this consumption method for seemingly stripping away the ritual of smoking, I am now embracing this change for the better. Cannabis concentrates enable me to achieve the effects I desire without dedicating hours to the process. They have proven invaluable in helping me live more efficiently and combat procrastination associated with my former ritual.Happy dabbing!
